I do like that they have us a scene that's been a long time coming, when the Wakandans confirm to Bucky that they scrubbed the Winter Soldier programming (then the kinda cliche movie swipe to the present).
And seems like Karli's bombing made the situation even worse for their cause, they mention the GRC fast tracked the Patch Act to restore borders. I doubt Donya taught them to use violence to get things done. And Sam calls her on that with the supremacy bit.
Zemo still a snake. Even knows how to manipulate children. "I'm sure this will all come to an agreeable conclusion." lmao.
At least he did the right thing and destroyed the serums, well most of them. But not a shock he sneaked off and back to being at his deadliest, a wild card on his own.
Sharon still has access to a satellite, those ex-S.H.I.E.L.D. agents...
I did like how they spent this episode to show some of the cast's ideologies to cross over. Like Karli also thinks the shield should be destroyed like Sam previously said. And Sam was just getting through to her, a nice nod to his former profession in TWS. Or how Sam differs from everyone and he wouldn't take the serum. But of course, the irony is he the most suited to take it like Steve was.
Loved the Dora fight and how bereft Walker was. Yet, he thinks that's all the more reason to take the serum.
Didn't expect to see a convo between Karli and Sarah. But kudos to Sarah even recognizing that Sam wouldn't be taking orders from the new Cap and convinced Karli.
RIP Hoskins. One more thing to make Walker snap and see his true colors.
Had a feeling we'd be seeing an execution with the shield. But a public one seen and recorded by a crowd? Ooo. I think the difference in this to past protagonists is Dovich looked like just another citizen in his street clothes. He wasn't dressed like a Ten Rings terrorist or an alien. That imagery of the blood on the shield, whew. Two episodes to go. Will the government just brush the incident aside? Will he be sidelined/go rogue to stop the Flag Smashers? Hmm.
All we really know is she's was Peggy's niece, most likely the daughter of her brother Michael who seemingly did shady stuff post WW II and Sharon was trained in deep cover missions and directly reported to Fury in TWS. I guess her training kicked in and she chose a) a safe haven that bans extradition b) blend in. The only real question, imo, is why if she is the Power Broker would want the serum to be reproduced?
There was an article indicating the cameo in ep. 5 is a new character who hasn't appeared in the MCU and is a famous performer. Seems like it is Power Broker. The penultimate episode seems like the best time to lift the veil on who he/she is.
