Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 3 as an MCU movie? It has to be a multiverse crossover. A rebooted Deadpool wouldn't have the number three in his first movie and they would recast him. JK Simmons reprised his role as the MCU's J Jonah Jameson in Far From Home because he was the best in the role and he was an Easter Egg for the Raimi Spider-Man fans. Ryan is just imitating Nolan North's portrayal from the video games. And we know Wolverine is going to be recast in the MCU. So Deadpool universe hopping would be a good explanation for how he could be in the MCU.

But he is going to mention the Fox films, isn't he? Deadpool is a known fourth-wall breaker and he referenced the MCU in the Fox films. Audiences are going to believe he's the same Deadpool especially when his MCU movie is marketed as a sequel with the number 3 and not a reboot with a new actor.

The movie still isn't marketed one bit

As I said, the film most likely won't be called "Deadpool 3". He'll mention the FOX films of course. He just has to say that he's not the the same Deadpool from the FOX films but a version with a similar backstory because Disney bought FOX and are jealous of his popularity, that would be enough for the general audience to understand.

Guys, think about the Avengers jokes that Deadpool was making, so technically, they are in the same universe.
