Talk about what you liked about episode 3 and theories about Falcon and the Winter Soldier
That reminds me. When Isaiah talked about what happened to him while he was in a cell, all I could think of was, "Discovery requires experimentation." Turns out, I was more right than I expected. I don't think Whitehall was necessarily connected to it, but his ideologies, along with Schmidt and Zola's, were probably the backbone of Hydra's science division.
Another question, is Dr Goodman(from AoS) and Selby different characters?. I know Marvel has used the same actors and actresses in multiple roles. I just want to confirm if they are the same or different because it isn't far fetched that they could be the same characters.
I wonder if they will talk about what happened to Wakanda's government during the blip. I don't think it would be too intense, but if all but one of the royal family was dead, there would probably be consequences.
@JustAnAverageMCUViewer Yes, they are different characters, since one is an American medical doctor and the other is an Australian crime lord.
Not that she isn't a capable actress, but I imagine that the fact that Imelda Corcoran is Victoria Alonso's wife probably went a long way to her getting cast in those roles.
Wow I have so many thoughts I don't know where to start! I highly enjoyed this episode although I did have a few issues with it. Firstly Zemo stole every scene he was in, I really love Daniel Bruhl as Zemo he's one of my favourite villains. Also I loved how they used the civil war theme in his introduction. He's working with them at the moment but it's only a matter of time before he turns on them. Madripoor was awesome and i'm sure there's tonnes of easter eggs I missed but whatever. I'm really hyped to finally see the Power Broker, I wonder if he will be the main bad guy? Sharon Carter is back and damn she is badass and way more brutal than I remember. John Walker had that moment where he lost it at that guy for spitting on him, he's definetely not captain america and I can see he was just playing a part in the last episode. Also Sam saying "I take it your not gonna move your seat up" has to be the best payoff I've ever seen lol! Next Friday cant come soon enough!
My thoughts:
I’m not sure if the Flag Smashers are a bad group, but their leader might be taking a darker path.
Really hope the build up to the identity of the Power Broker goes well because I’m really interested in knowing who this person is, but trying not to be too hopeful on the payoff.
I am really liking Zemo and the fact he knew he was a Baron and really showing off his wealth is great. I am just liking his character and backstory. Daniel really steals the show when he is in the picture.
I liked the whole breakout and the Madripoor scene. Well done!
Sharon Carter is great and has a lot of mystery too. I think she is working for someone or having some help. She didn’t get to be that successful on her own.
The ending was great because it adds another challenge to this already complex situation.
We really have several different groups:
Bucky and Falcon, and for now Zemo
Sharon Carter and whoever else is with her
Walker and Battlestar and their GRC team
Flag Smashers
Power Broker
And now Wakandans
I am looking forward to the rest of these episodes.
Was I the only one when they kept talking about Madani hoping the character from the punisher would show up?
I was certainly thinking of her, but my pessimistic mind didn’t expect her. I was thinking of her for sure.
Man, Zemo was honestly even better than I already expected him to be. I also love that they reveal he is a baron thereby giving him the title he has in the comics.
Also, yes I immediately thought of Dinah Madani when I heard that name.
@MarvelSharky I agree with what you said, and, I am actually thinking that Zemo might not be as bad as he thought. He just wanted to keep his promise. I had so many favorite parts, but, the one that just barely edged out the rest had to be the Zemo makes Bucky fight the dudes at the bar scene. That was awesome. He really looked like the Winter Soldier again.
What do you think?
