Biggest waste of potential in the MCU?
Biggest waste of potential in the MCU?
The grave in the Mysterio sequence not being Uncle Ben's.
Really? Why should it have been Uncle Ben’s grave, when he is not an essential character in the MCU’s Peter Parker’s life?
Simple. Because these movies have done next to nothing to mention him. Bringing him up every five seconds would also be bad, and I'm glad they skipped the origin, but almost completely ignoring one of the most important parts of the character's origin isn't good either. They could have made a parallel in Far From Home about losing his two father figures, instead, I'm starting to question whether Ben Parker even exists in this universe.
Maybe it's both of their graves, but he deserves more than a briefcase and a throwaway line.
*Ahem* Grant Ward's lack of redemption.
Maybe he wasn’t that close to his Uncle Ben, as other versions of Peter Parker have been. Marvel Studios/Sony don’t seem to want that be the focus for Peter. So not having his grave in the illusions might be on purpose. Peter doesn’t have guilt over his uncle, like other Peter Parker have in other versions.
Not airing Most Wanted
Or in endgame when Tony snaps. Having him go to the soul world but instead of seeing Morgan like in that deleted scene. He sees Ho Yinsen who asks if he wasted his life
Wandavision having Agatha as a villain and having no villain in the show, and having Wanda be the only villain (I'm not including Hayward)
If Agatha wasn't there Wanda wouldn't have taken down the hex at all.
