The Dark Phoenix storyline was my absolute favorite X-Men comics run and it annoys me that no one can get it right onscreen.

Marvel/Disney probably can. Also I think the X-Men: Animated Series version was good I hear.

I say they shouldn't do it at all. Or alternatively, have it already be established off-screen like with Spider-Man.

It could be a masterpiece if done right, but they’ll probably avoid it because of the backlash if it goes wrong a third time.
