I personally don't think daisy was concerned about her Mom or family but rather the people from project insight and even as WW2 red skull. I just think you cut the head of the original "snake"(hydra), it doesn't grow. However I than wonder hydra was formed centuries ago to bring back hive so even if they killed wilfred malick it still may not prevent hydras rule only the inevitable delay of it. Hive would still return and possibly do more harm than what the malick's did.

I honestly doubt she was worried about her family. Sure, Freddy and Whitehall were both HYDRA, but they don't seem to have any connection outside of that (it's not like Daisy would know that they knew each other well enough for Malick to confide in Whitehall about cheating on the test).

@Brett3801 Well she didn’t need to know that. She thinks that by killing Freddy, HYDRA never forms and thus never sends Whitehall’s men to China, never experiments with the Diviner, never finds Jiaying.

But they know that HYDRA already exists, so she's not stopping it from forming, she's stopping it from taking a foothold in America. She has no clue whether that would effect Whitehall, who operated in Europe. In fact, I'd even argue that it likely wouldn't have.

@Brett3801 exactly hydra would of raised up regardless if daisy killed wilfred. You hit the nail on the head. Hydra is centuries old and red skull revamped it as a science division.

And Whitehall was a part of that science division.

The episode clearly implies that Freddy’s delivery of the serum ingredient would be key to Red Skull reforming HYDRA into a Nazi organization. Had Freddy not made the delivery, Red Skull would not have been able to expand HYDRA, and thus Werner Reinhardt would have never been sent in search of extranormal artifacts, and he’d have never found the Diviner or Jiaying.

I mean, maybe. But Freddy and Whitehall didn't seem to have any connection before the war. I could be wrong though.

The serum is the variable why is it in the states and abraham Erskine created it. Was he in the states at that time or was he still in Germany.

@Brett3801 It’s not that Freddy and Whitehall had any connection at this time, it’s just that Whitehall’s actions would be directly enabled by Freddy making the delivery.

Freddy’s delivery -> Red Skull’s rise to power -> Reinhardt sent to find alien artifacts.

@Ddocddochoddocddocholiidaay And it wasn’t the serum itself, it was a key ingredient to make the serum that was probably only found in America. HYDRA needed to find a way to ship it to Germany.
