I think Bucky is my favorite of the two, and I see where you are coming from, but I think Bucky has been through too much on the other side to ever accept that place. He sees himself as a monster. I think he’s going to continue his redemption arc, but I don’t think he should be cap, although I really would like that. Falcon has shown more empathy for the people, more of Cap’s personality lives in Falcon, and I think that friendship between Bucky and Cap will continue with Falcon. The Winter Soldier is too far gone in his own eyes, I just don’t think he would accept himself being the ‘By the people, for the people’ kind of guy.
