As you already know Venom was the start of the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters (SPUMC) with more films set in the universe coming including Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Morbius.
I like these films for what they are but am I the only one who despises that Sony are forcing their films into the MCU. Even if Marvel Studios don’t consider these films as MCU canon a lot of people will and at some point it’s gonna really break the MCU continuity.
I can’t be the only one who thinks this.
Nevertheless, it would be nice for the MCU to have some diverse content besides Deadpool. That’s part of what made the Netflix shows so special, and it doesn’t look like we’ll see much of that from here on out.

But for now according to Feige no thing r rated is planed except Deadpool, so it’s more of having no r rated projects plans than won’t do r rated projects
Look, there is a reason why the whole Punisher-fandom loved the heck out of the netflix show.
Not because of the perfect casting, not because of the multiple-layered character, not because of the decent writing, and not because of the r-rate.
Because of ALL of these. This, his VIOLANCE and brutality what makes Punisher DIFFERENT than any other marvel-character who uses guns. This is why its technically TABOO to work with him. Remember that line in original Civil war? "Tell me we aren't so far gone that we signing up The Punisher?"
Besides, in a medium that so much about visuals, the visual effects that r-rate allows is which able to show that difference, that why he is different.
Silver Sable uses guns too. The Winter Soldier too. Black Widow as well. The MCU's Falcon also have guns. neither of them need r-rate. because neither of them like The Punisher.

Sure. when or IF Punisher appears in an Avengers movie, he have to fit into THAT movie and THOSE characters' ratings. But his OWN content still have to keep the r-rate. Because this is how he ALREADY worked perfectly in his own netflix-show, and by having his own show it's also not needed to CHANGE it and downgrade it.

@Anas Elbasyouni and feige said besides Deadpool's third own movie, they have NOTHING that - they think - would need the r-rate.
And he saying that when they are working on a frickin vampire-slayer - which is proven to work with the r-rate already, just like The Punisher -, and a schizophrenic psycho.

They don’t have plans for r rated projects now
But there are a lot of things that are yet to be thought about mainly a punisher or a daredevil project

does the r rate make Punisher worse then? Did the r-rate made the netflix show worse?
R rate didn’t make punisher worse but won’t necessarily make it good either
Do u remember Blade trinity ? R rate didn’t make it a good movie
