@AntIsBack However, Kevin Feige has no control over those and those shows don’t directly tie into the broader MCU, so therefore, they are aloud to have an r rating.
@I Like Jared Letos Joker That doesn't matter, they are MCU media which are Rated R. And Deadpool 3 will be the first R Rated MCU film.
@TheSilverVulture Correct. Deadpool 3 is Rated R.
Don't see it being R, but I could see it having a similar atmosphere to the Marvel Netflix shows.
I don't think it really needs to be rated R, necessarily. The thing is... I wish that the way the story is told wouldn't have to be dependant on the rating. If its PG-13 its because it is, if its R-rated, its because it is. A similarity to this could be compared to Logan, a movie that is very much R-rated, but you wouldn't need much to change it to PG-13. I don't think the rating is really important in this, as the definition of R-rated is usually if it has more cursed words, blood, drugs/alcohol and sexuality/nudity more than usual. Its as if they had like five F-bombs throughout the course of an episode, but like no blood, nudity or drugs throughout the rest of the episode would still be R-rated (I don't know how the ratings exactly work). It doesn't really matter for how a story is, or should be perceived. The ratings are just to make sure the audience knows what they will be seeing, and prepare them if there's some people that are more susceptible to this. It doesn't really damage the story, so I really don't care what rating it has, as long as strings weren't pulled just to get that rating, in which case (unless its totally under the intention of the creators of the story, since the beginning), sounds like an unnecessary effort, but that's just me.
I guess I can see where your coming from but for me Moon Knight needs an R rating because without he’s discount Batman. Moon knight brands criminals with a moon sign to signify criminals to kill this guy (Snyder stole this) he freaking rips peoples faces off without a hint of remorse also the guy had more split personality’s than that one guy from Glass. And he worships a Egyptian Moon god who demands him to take peoples skin off. I guess I’m afraid that without the R rating the character will have everything that made him special be stripped away from him
@Ykomat9 It's already confirmed that he will have the split personality. They can still make him brand criminals with the moon sign or torturing people as long as they don't make it more gory than necessary, him ripping people's faces will most likely be cut. Jaws, The Dark Knight and others show that you can have dark and gritty stories without a R-Rating.
Wow! I'd like to see the Netflix shows become Star Originals! =-)
It’s Disney I doubt it
I apologize for bringing up this post again
What do you think?
