I personally think they could play a bit more in the sandbox of TV, specially as they only did sitcoms. I'd like to see how they'd parody/homage Reality TV, Travel shows, Contest Shows, etc. I really think there is an opportunity for it, if they'd ever decide to do the Mojo character, or Arcade, as either of them could do this show well.
And if we wanted to continue this more mystical side, there are certainly a couple of shows like Supernatural, Vampire Diaries and others that I'm sure they could parody. However, I do think that if they were to do a Season 2, it should be more "House of M"-y, featuring supporting characters in their "perfect show", ie Monica doing Nextwave as a Brooklyn 99 sort of thing, Jimmy Woo with his Agents of Atlas as a kids show (alla Dora), and things like that.
@Angel Gro You're saying they could do other genres of TV if they continue the show?
That would be interesting to see...
I though episode 9 was the series finale
@Gkeller968 It may or may not be.
I thought it was a miniseries and there was gonna be no season two
I never thought that there would be a season 2. Although if it hadn’t been announced that WandaVision was crossing over with Doctor Strange, then I would have accepted that there was a possibility:
While I would absolutely love to see Wanda and Vision back at it in a Season 2, I agree with @Xanoverse in that it wouldn't make much sense. A lot of the show was about Wanda's grief and is taken place through multiple different sitcom eras. We don't know what the end of WandaVision will look like yet, and how it will affect Doctor Strange. It's fun to speculate what might happen, but we don't have a lot of the information yet. Maybe Doctor Strange could open the doors to another season of WandaVision. But we don't know.
Basically, if there were to be a Season 2 to WandaVision, it would most likely look much different from what we've seen: sitcom eras, fun music, grief. It would completely flip the premise upon which WandaVision was built.
Yeah the idea of a S2 doesn't make much sense, it's more of a one off and it should be.
What do you think?
