I am curious as to what people hate the most about captain marvel. Is it the movie itself, the character or the actress? Cuz personally i really liked the movie, but i do not like the character or the actress
tbh from what I've seen, the people who hate her irrationally are usually misogynistic and don't like that a woman is getting not just a powerful arc, but an unemotional one that doesn't revolve around having a male love interest. some people say she's overpowered, but there are clearly a few characters with a higher power level.
She is a boring and overpowers character. I mean her personality is boring, her jokes are sh*t and her first movie already gives her Binary with no character development.
