Why did Thanos not use the reality stone to change reality ? he could have obtained all the other stones easily or even might not require the other stones to accomplish his plans ?

If Thanos kept using the Reality Stone to stop the heroes, there would be no sequel and no movie. I mean, who wants to see a movie about a villain who immediately wins as soon as he gets his third stone?
So this is...... an MCU PLOT HOLE ????
IS IT??????
The answer is yes, it is.
It depends on how strong it is. Because the only movies it is in are Thor: The Dark Word, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame(and in that one it was only really used with the other stones.) So it could be weaker then it seems.
The Reality Stone changes how matter manifests around you. It can create visual illusions, change the state of matter of many objects and organisms. However, he cannot just slurp objects from across the universe at his will, without knowing where they are. That's why he can't use the reality stone (or any stone for that matter) to get to the soul stone, cause despite knowing it was in Vormir, he would be uncapable of breaking the rules to obtain it without knowing where it is. Same goes for the Time Stone. Not knowing where it is, its hard to ascertain exactly where to apply the reality stone's powers. Thanos uses the reality stone as much as he can to counteract his attackers on Titan, however, but that's the best he can do as long as he is aware of the surroundings of his battlefield. As for the Mind Stone... well he could do a lot of stuff he could just melt Vision's body and obtain the stone himself. By that time, his victory was basically guaranteed, and as we see, Thanos succeeded in getting the mind stone without using the reality stone directly into Vision, so...
That being said, though... there's still a lot of plot armor involved. I am just trying to insert some logic into this.
According to the page on this wiki, reality stone can change all of reality. so I guess it would be pretty easy to change a rule. moreover, if he changes the reality, he might not eve need to do the snap.
Another plot hole: If Thanos thought he was the savior, couldn't he just create twice as many habitable planets?
Its probable that that wouldn't be feasible without corrupting the very nature of the universe. That would mean, double the matter and double the gravity... it could perhaps be more catastophic. Doubling the resources might not be the best approach to, as that wouldn't excuse the even larger increase in population that that would bring.
Gotta also say that it’s been made clear that using an infinity stone takes a toll on the user, hence why they aren’t overused. Yes it’s done to limit characters from using overpowered items, because that makes an uninteresting story. Giving these powers a limit helps make a story engaging and interesting, while giving it an in-universe explanation. WandaVision and Endgame explain that the stones emit cosmic radiation when used, which is why they have such a major effect on Thanos, Hulk, and fatally Tony Stark when they are all used in unison. This likely limited Thanos from over-using the reality stone, or from using it’s powers to go above and beyond.
What do you think?
