Disappointments

I’m my last post we talked about MCU movies and shows we weren’t excited about but ended up loving. But what about the other way around? Were you let down by something that you were excited for?

Oh, I agree. Endgame was a major disappointment except for the last half hour (starting with when Thanos blew up the New Avengers Facility). That part was awesome, the rest not so much

This is gonna be a very unpopular opinion, but I was kind of bummed out when I saw Endgame. It was a good movie and I enjoyed it very much, but I went into the movie expecting them to come up with something more clever than time travel. I thought the trailers and rumors of time travel were a red herring. I thought it was going to be a very trippy experience but it just kind of was a MCU greatest hits, which I didn't need because I had just watched all those movies in preparation

Captain Marvel is the biggest MCU disappointment by far.

Others would be; Iron Fist s1, Defenders, Thor: Dark World, Guardians Vol. 2, and Endgame (to a small degree). I like a lot about the entries in this paragraph but they had too many things I didn't like and are therefore disappointments in some way. Granted, I haven't seen Inhumans but I'd likely be disappointed by that as well.

@The NEW Mask Afaik, no. Most people liked Endgame (myself included). The unpopular opinion is that some people do not like it, as it is more commonly believed to be a good and well done movie.

I think I can agree just a bit on the time travel argument. The most exciting part of the movie was really the final battle. I mean... whatever, it was their decision for the movie, and I wasn't bummed by it, so all good, tbh. But its ok to give more critiques against it, because this movie broke a box office record and it didn't deserved it (cries in Avatar fanboy)...

My disappointment was Cloak and dagger😞.

I thought the show would be good because of Olivia Holt. I did not understand anything. Can someone plz explain it ..... everything briefly....plz

Their powers are based on darkness and light. Tandy has light-based abilities, able to form weapons from light and see people's hopes. Ty has darkness-based abilities, able to teleport leaving behind a dark cloud, access the Dark Dimension, and see people's fears. They got the powers when the oil rig exploded and the two touched hands, becoming connected. Throughout the first season, they work to defeat their individual villains, until he same chemicals that gave Ty and Tandy their powers starting turning people into monsters, and they had to fight the monsters and defeat both of their villains at the same time, saving New Orleans. I hope that helped!
