Has Tony's escape from the Ten Rings, including the sacrifice from Yinsen and the introduction of Mk I been discussed yet? If yes, do you have the link?

I wonder how the Loki show will tie into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

I’m with @Brett3801 on this one, I’m not very fond of this scene or its implications.

I do understand the desire to see a much more evil Loki, however. I think that’s the only scenario I‘d be in favor of. It’d also be cool to see him become a member of the Cabal in the future.

So as long as they don’t retread on original Loki’s redemption arc, I’d be fine.

The only proposal I was looking forward to this show was if it was a prequel that showed Loki doing some deals to make himself able to reincarnate and have the possibility to have Lady Loki or Kid Loki and joining the Cabal. That is way more innovating than this show.

Opening up alternate timelines can be a really good thing for the MCU. If you think about it, right now Marvel is having a problem, since they're "It's All Connected" mantra is getting in trouble because of COVID. If one film or show is delayed because of production problems or because it's becoming problematic to get a movie on the big screen, it impacts all the other films/shows that are supposed to connect with it.

On the other hand, if certain films/shows were set in an alternate timeline, that film/show could be written without any fear of doing something that would go against the main timeline. Writers would be free to write the stories they want without being handcuffed to an overarching story, without having to make sure it "fits in." And they could do this while keeping the main timeline pristine and free of inconsistencies.

But then you're defeating the point of having a continuous universe where everything takes place together.

It was inevitable. The MCU would eventually deal with branches and Multiverse, and we are seeing. It all still takes place mainly in the main MCU space in the Multiverse.

Yeah, it's just that they should be careful how often they do it is all.

I’m happy they did it. It means that the Avengers wouldn’t have to resurrect him with any complicated methods to start his series. This is simple and it lets him be independent and not let his actions impact the rest of the MCU.
