Since the MCU began with Tony being captured by the Ten Rings, I figure that it'll come to an end with the Ten Rings as the antagonists.
Plus another thing, the ten rings pop up twice, in iron man 3 and in iron man 1
More than that, they're in all 3 Iron Man movies, plenty of tie-in comics, Marvel One-Shot: All Hail the King, and Ant-Man.
How in iron man 2
In Iron Man 2, Vanko meets with an Ten Rings Agent to get the ticket to the race event Tony would be at in Monaco.
Oh ok
But what has vanko got to do with ten rings
They both had a common enemy...Stark
But how did they contact eachother...
Don’t know how exactly. My guess is Ten Rings found out about him and got into contact with him because what they have in common is their hatred for Stark.
The Ten Rings helped Vanko get to Monaco, since they wanted to help him destroy Tony.
