@ThatGuyNamedJoe well unfortunately I’m not sure if you are going to get much answer to any of those questions. It’s doubtful that Ghost Rider will return to the show. Deke isn’t going anywhere. Not sure if they could even return him to his own timeline if they wanted too. They aren’t even in control of where they jump right now. Deke seems content with his new life. Quake joining SWORD, if happens, can easily be an end credits scene. SHIELD might not become legitimate again or get shown to be that way. Far From Home showed something of their future and maybe that’s what we know. This team might break apart at the end, so who knows.

Well, the way I see it, the movie's side has not acknowledged S.H.I.E.L.D. ever since The Winter Soldier (apparently the black suit Spider-Man wears was made by S.H.I.E.L.D., but there is nothing to indicate that), same with Coulson being alive. Granted, for the latter, no one else knew he was alive, when he was, but surely everyone knows S.H.I.E.L.D. is back, right? Well, sadly the movies aren't as willing to reference the tv side, but the tv side is always working off of the movies.

So, what I believe will happen is AoS will end with S.H.I.E.L.D. no longer existing, for whatever reason in the show, but the outside reason is because the MCU can't have S.H.I.E.L.D. still exist but not be used anywhere, with the show finished, and no way for them just to appear in the movie, because the assumption that people only watch the movies and would have no idea.

And, also because they no longer have a S.H.I.E.L.D. (both in the movies and in the MCU in general), that's why they're doing S.W.O.R.D. now. And maybe AoS will lead into S.W.O.R.D., so that when it appears in the movies, everything that is from the show can come over to the movies because the way it'll be handled in the movies is that they created it, and Daisy Johnson will be making her debut with this new organisation (which actually was set up in the show).

I don't know if that made sense. I kind of wrote it as it was coming to me. Essentially, AoS will end with the formation of S.W.O.R.D., however, the actual "formation" will be in the movies, so they can bring in the characters, but make it seem like this is their first appearance, rather than bringing them all in as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and having movie-only fans having no clue what's happening.

If it is the end of SHIELD, then it would seem almost like the Chronicom succeeded in their goal, just not in the way they wanted or needed.

if SHIELD ends in the MCU, I would guess it would take place after the Cronicom threat has been either neutralized or eliminated.

Quake joining SWORD? I do not recall any of the Marvel people implying or telling that.

SHIELD becoming legitimate? it seemed to become so in season 4. not sure if public's view changed after then.

Ghost Rider returning? from my understanding, he would be in the upcoming Helstrom series. not sure whether it would be Robbie Rayes or someone else.

Yes, public view was changed again because of Aida and her LMDs. They have not become legitimate since then.

Well, they seemed to be a pretty public thing throughout Season 6. When Jaco and Pax arrived/Tinker died, the museum scene, during the Shrike Tower bit they contacted local authority. It seemed like something happened between seasons that SHIELD became public again.

They're definitely public, but not as big and known as they used to be.

Yeah, after they saved Chicago from Graviton, S.H.I.E.L.D. was in the public's good graces again so between seasons, they were able to legitimize and go public again. But either as a mandate from the feds or Director Mack and the team's choice, they operated on a smaller scale than compared to at the start of the Phase 1 movies.

I think this iteration of S.H.I.E.L.D. can do on. They are the defense against threats to Earth, hence a shield image. Whereas, S.W.O.R.D. can be the offense against threats to Earth. And they keep a balance in inter agency power, keep each other in check, have each other's back, etc. But I imagine Enoch was simply seeing the obvious, that some will finally quit S.H.I.E.L.D. for good either to retire (or in a sense, "retire" like Hawkeye has) or perhaps as others speculate, join a different agency.
