Awesome scene. Very good dialogue. Helped the relationship when Carol is messing with Fury and when she blow up the vending machine. This shows how lighthearted she can be in moments.

People have been very vocal about Carol's personality, but I never understood the complaints, as from this movie alone, we see a fun and playful person who is having her humanity suppressed by an emotionless race. However, when Carol is being her true self, it is great to watch because of how well she works within the MCU, and with other characters. So, pairing her up with Fury was also great, as it gave us a chance to see him how we never have, and it all completely worked.

Yes and I would like to focus a little bit more when you say that she fits in well with the MCU. Her personality as herself is one very simalar to Thor’s. This would make for a very interesting story between the two if Marvel wanted to go that way as some fans theorize after the “I like this one” moment.

Honestly, a Thor and Carol team up would be incredible. Both just all-powerful warriors, and it would be amazing to see them fight side by side, as well as hanging out. And that's where the MCU is at its strongest, when it pairs up characters together, like Steve and Nat in The Winter Soldier, or Thor and Bruce in Ragnarok.

This scene was great, and a lot of fun. It gave us some never-before-seen insight into Fury, Carol was fun to watch, and it was staged and shot pretty well too. I don't get why people don't like this movie, it was good.

This film wasn’t one of my favorites, but as others have said, it certainly did not warrant all the hatred that it received.

The scene stands testament to that. It was a fun little scene with the purpose of introducing these two characters to each other and beginning a friendship we would see (and hopefully continue to see) develop.

@SonOfAres1 Well, not every actor has to be the same role, so I'm fine with them being seperate (Same with Enver Gjokaj and Mahershala Ali). However, if anyone thinks that they are the same (as it's less complicated), then that's fine, and does work for a fun appearance.

I always got confused in the scene despite it is a great one. Since Carol never met Fury, how does Carol know if Fury is telling the truth? I mean Skrulls can't copy powers which is clearly implied. But what if (just what if) the Fury was a Skrull and just lying, Carol wouldn't know.
