It is not actually Hell, but a region set in the Dark Dimension.

I loved the scene, specially when Robbie uses his chain to open a portal like Doctor Strange and the Masters of the Mystic Arts do.

You know, I wasn’t aware that the MCU’s Dark Dimension also contains the Darkforce Dimension and this “Hell” dimension. Where was that ever confirmed?

And speaking of, I do love the idea that there is no singular “Hell” dimension in Marvel. There are many realms of the dead, undead, or damned souls, each one ruled by different demonic entities who are all vying for dominion.

But, yep, this scene reminded me of the Eldritch magic portals from Doctor Strange, as it was likely intended to. This gives me a little hope that we might see Doctor Strange meet Robbie Reyes in the future, which would just be amazing!

I had also really hoped to see Robbie as the star of that Ghost Rider series from the cancelled Adventure into Fear property. I wouldn’t have minded seeing him as the lead Ghost Rider of the MCU, so long as we still got to see Johnny Blaze eventually.

My favorite Ghost Rider scene of AoS Season 4 has got to be the brief teamup fight of him and Daisy against Aida’s LMDs in the season finale!

The Dark Dimension in the MCU is a combination of several from the comics, Morgan le Fay's realm, the Orun (Loa's), Dormammu, this region defined as Hell and the Darkforce dimension.

It is crazy to know how Dormammu managed to expand and posses those regions. The Dark Dimension is the most featured dimension outside Earth plane.

Right, but where was it explicitly stated that the dimensions featured in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, and Cloak and Dagger were part of the Dark Dimension?

For Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., it was commented by Jeff Bell after Season 4 got released calling Robbie's adventures as a part of "Robbie Reyes and Dark Dimension stories".

The "Cloak & Dagger" confirmation comes with the crossover with Runaways. The Runaways' illusions and recreations connect with the Loa dimension seen in the show, Tyrone Johnson refers to it as the Dark Dimension and saying they had been there as seen in C&DS2. And given the Agent Carter series had the Darkforce introduced, they all connect.
