<p>Oh yeah, knew that was coming up but then forgot about it. Will have to make notes like last time.

Looking through the Netflix series props, and the "Culture Celebration Masks" for Iron Fist would have been a nice opportunity to confirm they're Chinese New Year's masks.

Yeah they did that last time. Oh well.

Curious where that date comes from. Is there really a 5 year age gap between Matt and Foggy ?

<p>Season 3, Episodes 3 and 4, on his ID that Matt steals. Definitely overrules the prop auction.

<h3><span class="mw-headline" id="Sousa.27s_File_.28Brett3801.29">Sousa's File (Brett3801)</span></h3>

<p>Brett3801 wrote:
Thank you for bringing up Sousa's file, I've been meaning to bring that up here, as Marvelus and I did some work on that. Some of the dates on it aren't great. I'll summarize what we did here (sorry this message will be long):
</p><p>Dates on the File:
Entered on Duty: 1-26-46
Reported to Field: 4-22-46
Last Salary Change: 1-18-46, Basic
Age: 27
Office of Assignment: 4-22-46 assigned Los Angeles
12-1-46 (rest illegible)
</p><p>These Dates in Chronological Order:
Last Salary Change (LSC): 1-18-46
Entered on Duty (EOD): 1-26-46
Reported to Field (RTF): 4-22-46
Office of Assignment: 4-22-26 (OOA1)
12-1-46 (OOA2)
</p><p>Other Abbreviations Real Quick:
DOB = Date of Birth
MOSAC = <i>Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter</i>
AC1 = <i>Agent Carter</i> Season 1
AC2 = <i>Agent Carter</i> Season 2
ACFTF = <i>Alien Commies from the Future!</i> and forward
</p><p>He received a salary change before he started working at the SSR (LSC is before EOD), so the LSC date is when he signed his contract with the SSR, and he never received a pay raise. He then started working there officially on the EOD date.
</p><p>RTF is also kind of weird, as it's during AC1. Specifically, it's the same day that Peggy and Jarvis bring Howard back into the country in <i>The Blitzkrieg Button</i>. Nothing else happened that day, so it should be assumed that Sousa entered field duty for something unrelated to Howard or Leviathan.
</p><p>With OOA2 being the latest date, the file has to have been written between that and SHIELD's founding, so between 12-1-46 and ca. 1950. Since the file is clearly not part of his hiring, it was likely made as part of another big step in his career. Aside from his SHIELD recruitment (which is slightly too late, as he would be 24 during AC2 and would not have enough time to get a bachelor's degree, which is also stated in the file), the only other major thing we know about is his promotion to chief and assignment to LA. So, the file was made when he was promoted and founded the LA office (per the biography in <i>Out of the Past</i>), on 12-1-46. The file would later be repurposed with a SHIELD letterhead placed on top of it.
</p><p>This means he was 27 on 12-1-46, so born between December 2, 1918 and December 1, 1919, so approximately June 2, 1919. While this isn't great with the Nathaniel Malick line pointed out by BEJT, Nathaniel was still very close and could have been rounding.
</p><p>The final thing, it must be assumed that Sousa was going to start the LA branch on 4-22-46, per the file, but instead decided to stay in New York, deciding that the Howard/Leviathan stuff was too important to leave behind.
</p><p>So, here's Sousa's life:
DOB: June 2, 1919
Joins the Military: "during" WWII according to his page, but before the Siege of Bastogne, so between 12-7-41 and 12-20-44, placing more weight on the earlier date, so approximately 9-10-42
Loses His Leg: As late as possible in the Siege of Bastogne, so 12-27-44
Gets home: Probably right after, so 12-28-44
Meets Peggy: "Six months" before AC1, so 11-7-45
MOSAC: 3-15-46
LSC/Signing Contract: 1-18-46
EOD: 1-26-46
AC1: 4-14-46 (<i>
Now is Not the End</i>-<i>
Time and Tide</i>)
RTF: 4-22-46
AC1: 4-22-46 (<i>
The Blitzkrieg Button</i>-<i>
Valediction</i>)
Promotion to Chief/File Gets Made/Reassignment to LA: 12-1-46
AC2: 7-10-47
SHIELD Founding/File Gets Repurposed: 1949/1950-ish
ACFTF: 7-21-55 onward
</p><p>If there's anything y'all think we missed, let me know!
</p>
</i></div>
<p>Thanks, didn't know about the December 1946 date yet from cursory glances.

<h3><span class="mw-headline" id="FitzSimmons_at_the_Academy_.28additional.29">FitzSimmons at the Academy (additional)</span></h3>
<p>Forgot to mention. A while back, Mrmichaelt opened my eyes to a fresh understanding of FitzSimmons' time at the academy that I had never questioned before (I've talked about Season 1 and Season 2, Part 1 being weak spots for me). I revisited that discussion when it came to work on Season 6 and found some more stuff and drew conclusions, and agree with him - FitzSimmons' time at the academy ended in 2004, it didn't begin then.
The edit and explanation can be found here, and I fixed it on
Fitz and
Simmons' pages.
