<p>Hey guys, one question, I rewatched Season 1 of Runaways a couple of days ago, and I am wondering if they ever explained the reason why LA was getting destroyed in a possible future. I have two options, the first one and obvious is an alternate reality where Jonah successfully escapes from Earth and, as expected, it caused a massive Earthquake. </p><p>My last option, but obviously not the one, it was related to Destroyed Earth reality, but that is not confirmed however, still nice to think about it. </p>

It was stated lately very clearly that the ship leaving would cause the earthquakes. Anything relating it to either Quake or Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. were just weird fan wishes spammed all over the internet back in the day.

<p>He isn't, because he hails from a reality where the events from <i>Last Rites</i> happened differently. So I guess that is yet another Point of Divergence I didn't remember. </p>

<p>We have a lot of diverging points in Runaways then. </p>

• The one with Jonah's successful escape which I suppose is the same with Chase Stein adivising his father not to pick up the Fistigons. Am I correct?
• The one where Gert died, and the Runaways gathered in 2021, and by 2028 Alex went rogue and tries to kill everyone
• The one where the Runaways are assembled in 2021 by Chase Stein rather than Nico Minoru
• The MCU one.
