Disney releases new dates for MCU films

What is cool to see is Captain Marvel 2 being mentioned when it was not even being talked about before. Black Widow is going to still be released this year in theaters. So anyone that was worried about digital rental, I hope this gives you peace.

I have not heard any more about the Disney+ shows for Phase 4. I don’t think we even know when the final season of AOS is going to premiere.

I don't see anything stopping Spider-Man 3 to still be released in July. There's definetly a window between Shang-Chi and Doctor Strange. I personally feel these delays are a good thing, gives more time to flesh out the properties and make the movies better (and yes I am aware production has been suspended in these movies, but those that are in pre-production or post-production might just have advantages). Also, with all these movies coming closer and closer together, makes up for a more coherent and fluid continuity, I'd assume. Also, happy to see Captain Marvel 2 release date, and also the fact that including 2022 in Phase 4 is inevitable and only makes sense.

Looks like ‘Eternals’ has been pushed back a year as it was said to arrive December this year.

Due to the fact that each year Marvel introduces a new franchise or two (2020: Black Widow, 2021: The Eternals, Shang-Chi), they will probably release a new franchise in 2022 (we never know with the new changes), but there is a good chance the final MCU films of 2022 are either Ant-Man 3 or Blade, with the one that doesn't get picked coming out in 2023 alongside GoTG Vol 3 and Fantastic Four, as well as something else (mutants, Deadpool?) in 2023. We will also see Moon Knight and She Hulk in 2021 or 2022 and What If...? Season Two sometime in Phase Five.
