This was Empire Magazine's film scene of the year 2016, and I can see why.
It's such a great introduction. You get the payoff of the big location title cards with the exciting big "Queens", and it's a perfect teenage Peter Parker living an ordinary, slightly nerdy school life, while having this double life trying to be a hero. I feel they handled that perfectly in Homecoming as well, but lost it somewhat in Far from Home.
I think this is a great way of covering the origins of his ethos, with the line, "When you can do the things that I can, but you don't... and then the bad things happen... they happen because of you."
Peter and Tony have a great dynamic in the scene. The dialogue is sharp and they spark off each other brilliantly, immediately establishing a great connection. The scene also has a great energy with things like Peter leaping to try to hide the "onesie" suit to no avail, and webbing Tony's hand.
Plus there's that nice story about how Tom genuinely, in awe of Robert, forgot to move his leg so Robert could sit on the bed, and Robert just incorporated it into the scene in an art imitating life situation as Peter also fails to act in awe of Tony.
