A great Superman. Just need more muscle. But the escence of the character is done correctly!

SonOfArest1, nothing against Cavill, and I hope he returns to the role despite the way it seems things might be heading. I think Cavill has it in him to be a great Superman, and there were the beginnings of that in Justice League. Unfortunately, I don't think the films he's been in have served him.

Whenever Hoechlin has appeared in the Arrowverse, I think the writing has served him well, and he is just perfect as a version more akin to the Christopher Reeve portrayal, but still updated for the modern day.

@BEJT No no I understand the criticisms toward Cavill. I’m citing rumors and leaks, so this may just be speculation, but the story of his Superman was supposed to take a 5-film arc where he slowly evolves from the grittier hero we know him as to the hopeful, optimistic Superman. The DCEU was playing a long game with him, but of course, now we might never know for sure. :(

Speaking of, it’d be pretty cool for Henry Cavill to join the MCU too!

Cavill as Captain Britain could work.

I think Tyler could play some of these characters, in my opinion that could be great for him.

Cavill must be a villain. His most memorable and fitting role, in my opinion, was on Mission Impossible: Fallout, as the villain. Although he also made a cool performance as a gentleman hero in The Man from U.N.C.L.E., which I pretty much appreciate. If thinking on a future role for Cavill in the MCU I would advise avoiding thinking on Superman because, although he plays the role decently, its not the best he can do being in superhero movies. He works better in different roles.

He was the worst superman. so goofy and just weird. i don’t think he’d work in marvel. depending on the role tho. maybe a secretary for a couple seconds. nah he’s too weird for that job
