We already know of that, that means literally nothing. The actor who plays Cottonmouth is a good actor, so they decided to cast him as Blade. That's literally all that means.

And to add on, Mahershala Ali playing Cottonmouth and Blade is NOT the first instance of actors playing multiple characters.

For instance, Alfre Woodard played Miriam Sharpe AND Mariah Dillard. Within the same year.

Nobody wants to see pg-13 Punisher. I guess maybe a Matt Murdock cameo in Spider-Man 3 is as far as they'd go. They have so many characters to work with already, it's going to be a while before they think about implementing them in the movie line-up.
