Mysterio was a Disappointment

I loved Spiderman Far From Home. The action, the romance, just wow. It was great. When the trailers came out I was super pumped for the movie. At school I asked my friend he was going to see the Far From Home . He told me no way and that Mysterio seemed lame. I was like whaaaa? In the tralier with his cool suit and powers, I thought this villain was gonna be awesome. Well after seeing the movie, I liked everything except for Mysterio and here's why: 1. He's just a boring old person who worked for Tony's company. It would've been better if he was really from another Earth and had those cool powers. Turns out it was just technology and special affects. FAKE! 2. So those cool monsters attacking Mexico, Italy, Prauge, and London were fake? Wow. Are you kidding me. You had Spiderman sacrificing his vacation over fake monsters?? Everyone thought those monsters were trying to kill them. 3. I mean okay. Mysterio's plan of getting what he wants was very well planned out and genius, but come on, you wouldn't you guys prefer him the other way around? You know like he's actually from another Earth and actually has those powers. Would you guys prefer him to be hero instead and maybe besties with Peter? I'm just saying. It would've been cooler.

Thought the reveal was funny

but i thought he would stay good bcuz it was so obvious he would get evil but they made him a working twist villain in my opinions everybody got its own

Well, For me Mysterio was the better part of the movie, I used to watch the cartoons and throughout the movie, I was very satisfied with his character, witch was exactly the selfish villain with no powers, but his illusions! The scene where Peter has to use his spider sense to defeat Mysterio gave me chills!!! It was awesome

As others have said, that's how he is in the comics. I thought he was great. Definitely one of the best MCU villains. Kind of hoping he's not dead, because it seems like a waste to make such a great and intelligent villain just a one-off.

Mysterio was done well. In comics he also was expert in special effects and I was worried it would be difficult to make but they did great. I don't like that he is pissed off at Stark though.

Why do all Spider Man villains in the MCU should be inspired by what Iron Man did to them?!

Since I think Sony will have more than three Spider-Man films with Holland, you are going to see them drift away from Tony. Happy might still be around, but I don’t think all future villains will still be connected to Tony. It’s sort of hard for all these villains to hate a guy in High School, but add someone like Tony Stark, and you can build the rogue gallery faster. It still seems better than Osborn making a bunch of suits and finding people to fill them. I don’t think Tony will have such a strong influence in future films.

Mysterio is one of the best (if not the best) villains of the MCU. And yes, I'm considering Thanos and the TV series villains...

That was the whole point of the movie. He is fake. He has always been. Did you not read the comics? I think Marvel & Sony did a great job displaying his character.

I actually like them being fake. It makes Mysterio a different type of MCU villain. He pretends to be a hero by faking monster attacks and being there to save the day. Syndrome style.
