I agree, don’t understand why people are making this so hard. Mahershala Ali is a great actor. Shame for them to say we can’t use him because he already appeared before on a MCU TV show that has been canceled and his character was killed off on. I feel like some people are just trying to force an unofficial decanonization, when it is not needed. Honestly I don’t expect Feige to ever say something was decanonized. With the Fox deal done, they access to so many characters and stories they can leave the old tv shows where they are at and be fine.
The MCU kinda wants you to forget The Incredible Hulk, for example, but they can't decanonize it, because we have Iron Man on it.
^ and they can't also because, that would mean Hulk has zero solo movies.
That's not the big deal. Hulk could be in the MCU without solo movies. We manage to care about Black Widow and Hawkeye by now, and they still don't have a film or TV property focused on them.
Well, 2 of them gets movies, and the other one gets a Disney+ show.
Makes no sense. Hawkeye should get a movie too.
Actually that would give the characters more time to tell the story
Yeah. A show can make the story as long as they like.
Maybe, but it doesn't give the stakes. Movie franchises end eventually. But nowadays (if not ever in the history of TV series) you can never see when the end is coming... and when you do you don't really feel like it (because many times its just a series being cancelled or forcefully concluded).
I don't think the shows will have multiple seasons
What do you think?
