<p>So there is a lot of mystery surrounding the upcoming Black Widow, especially with the fact that she died in Avengers: Endgame, leading people to believes that the film will be a prequel. People then thought we would be seeing her pre-S.H.I.E.L.D. days as an assassin. But then BTS leaks have her in a similar look as she does in Endgame. However, it could literally be at any moment in her life. So with that, when would you like the film to be set, and what areas of her history (even between the films) would you like to see explored? </p><p>
</p><p>I personally want this to be about her time in S.H.I.E.L.D./working with Hawkeye, with a few flashbacks to her assassin days that could tie into the plot. Although, I see why people would want to continue it from when we have already established her (i.e. after TWS or Endgame).</p>

The black widow movie should be about when Hawkeye goes to kill black widow. Also what the hell happened in Budapest. Probably based around phase 1

<p>I would like it to be set just moments before the events of Iron Man 2, all her time before SHIELD would be told in the beginning of the film and would later show scenes of her joining SHIELD and become friends with Hawkeye. Then, the main story will occur, around 2010, during one of her many covers. The movie would end in a tie-in with Iron Man 2, like, Nick Fury tells her to go through the name of Natalie Rushman again, and infiltrate Tony Stark's house to monitor his condition.</p><p>
</p><p>If they want sequels, they could have Black Widow 2 being set between The Avengers and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, I would like pretty much to see her do her missions away from the Avengers team, and you likely don't need Cap in this as well. A Black Widow 3 could be set shortly after the events of Captain America: Civil War, while she is on the run. Again, she is not with the Avengers, and we could still have many characters, such as Falcon, appear in the movie.</p>

<p>I want it to start near the end of her days as an assassin, and show Hawkeye recruiting her. We would be able to witness Budapest, and her other missions with SHIELD. However, I find this unlikely.</p>
