Things like Sebastian Stan, Jeff Bridges, Samuel L. Jackson, Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, Sigourney Weaver, Robert Redford etc. are extrapolations from the fact that famous films/shows they starred in exist in the MCU. We don't know for certain that those roles were actually played by those actors in the MCU.
This is a direct appearance of an actor, accidentally. I'm assuming that the MCU version of that Esquire cover doesn't also talk about Black Panther the film at the bottom... Luckily it's obscured.

<p>I think all the actors exist within the MCU, just instead of Marvel there’s the MCU equivalent to it. </p>
