<p>In the aftermath of Infinity War we know that Thanos retired to his Garden, essentially abandoning his entire life’s work. His Chitauri, Outrider, and Sakaaran armies were left behind.</p><p>This movie pitch will essentially address what happened to these forces in the wake of Thanos’ absence (and eventual death). And keep in mind that the forces seen in Endgame are from an alternate 2014 timeline. This deals with the remaining forces in 2018.</p><p>
</p><p>2020:</p><p>2 years have passed since Thanos decimated half the universe.</p><p>Richard Ryder, the new Nova Prime, has taken command of the remnants of the Nova Corps after Irani Rael died with Thanos’ attack on Xandar. Ryder will know that Thanos and the Black Order have been killed, but in his effort to police what remains of the galaxy, he still seeks revenge against Warbringer, the Chitauri commander who led the massacre of Xandarian citizens while Thanos took the Orb. Warbringer has assumed control over Thanos’ forces after they were abandoned at the end of the Infinity War and is joined by Supergiant, a daughter of Thanos who was denied a place on the Black Order and wishes to continue her father’s legacy. The Chitauri, under their command, are seeking to establish an empire by easily taking over worlds weakened by the Decimation. Minor villains include Kaldera, a Black Order spy. </p><p>

<p>This is actually really good. It could also work post reverse snap, with 2018 army still around, not the 2014 one. </p>
I think that this is a really good idea for a movie. Having it progress the MCU storyline is really cool. Also adding a Thanos child as the villain is smart.
<p>SonofAres, this is a really interesting idea you have here. I love the fact that you included Supergiant, and that you actually used a named Chitauri in the form of Warbringer just makes this even better. If anything, Nova deserves to have a movie like this. My only wish is that the Nova Corps use the Power Stone as a way to create the Nova Force, since it sort of makes sense. And if budget allows it, we should be able to see the battle for the Stone, even if only glimpses, or as PTSD visions.</p>

Warbringer would lead these forces, but then a Q-ship or Sanctuary II would launch missiles to blow open the vault, knocking out Ryder. A teleportation beam would then shoot into the vault. Ryder would wake up near the vault ruins, seeing Warbringer dividing the Nova and Xandarian survivors into two groups and slaughtering one group. We’d also see Warbringer personally kill one of Ryder’s friends (Rhomann Dey?) so that there is a personal reason why Ryder wants Warbringer dead. Ryder would retreat into the vault and we’d get a very brief glimpse of the Black Order and Thanos, who we see break the Orb and insert the Power Stone before beaming out. Then Ryder would rush over to a dying Irani Rael, who bestows upon him the rank of Nova Prime and the responsibility of avenging Xandar.</p>
