ALL POSTSSPOILERS: Infinity Stones
<p>In previous Marvel movies, it was stated that less powerful beings cannot hold Infinity Stones unless they are in containment units. This was especially explored in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie. I cannot recall whether the other Avengers held the other Infinity Stones without containment units in their hands, but I distinctly remember Banner/Hulk holding the Time Stone and Hawkeye holding the Soul Stone by themselves. I could somewhat understand the Hulk being able to hold the Time Stone, but I highly doubt that Hawkeye is powerful enough to hold an Infinity Stones with his bear hands. So, does anyone have an explanation for this?</p>
There is 2 explanation to this. He was wearing gloves or the sacrifice of black widow
I think it might be becuae horkeye did the sole for a sole (sorry for spellings?)
I believe the Hulk is powerful enough to hold an Infinity Stone. As to Barton, you have to remember what Red Skull said about the Soul Stone being unique among the Infinity Stones in that it possesses a form of wisdom or scentience and requires a sacrifice in order to wield it. Barton made the sacrifice and so the Soul Stone accepted him.
I still hold this is an issue only with the power stone.
Because it is basically infinite energy concentrated into a stone.
The reality gem went 'inside' jane foster, nothing happened to her.

Hawkeye can hold the infinity stones because he is the one in possession of the soul stone and that makes him a powerful being

<p>Banner didn't actually touch the time stone. It was still floating in the air as it was when the Ancient One took it out of the Eye of Agomotto. As for the soul stone, yeah, I guess Hawkeye was able to hold it because he was proven worthy of possessing it. </p><p>How did they unlock the orb for the power stone? I guess Stark could just use one of his lasers or something. Same for the mind stone in the scepter. And how did they get the space stone out of the tesseract? I suppose Hulk could crush it.</p>
