"I'm Mary Poppins ya'll!" Favourite quote from GoTG2, misunderstood character and Micahel Rooker was the perfect choice for me.
"He may have been your father boy, but he aint your daddy" and Michael Rooker delivered the line beautifully.
Probably one of my favourite quotes in the entire MCU.
Yondu was one of the best things (if not the best) of GOTGv2.

Such a great character. Perfectly delivered. His death made for one of the most heart-felt scenes in the mcu.

<p>Rewatching the first guardians film since the second dropped adds a lot of depth to Yondu's characterization. I mean at least to me it does. I think Yondu was meant to come off as more of an a-hole whenever he was on screen in GotG but I'm sure since Gunn and Rooker are actually friends they were able to work Rooker's charm and sense of humor seamlessly into the character. This makes him SO likable and a genuine delight whenever he appeared. So all that was added to him in GotGv2 makes him all the more relatable and endearing which in turn made his death exponentially more effective. I wanted to cry real tears from my face. </p>
