<p>I've done this privately for about 18 months and on a blog for about a year now, and it's a shame that there won't ever be another chance. I found it a kind of fun and helpful little side project (though I'm a massive numbers nerd and I'm sure "fun" would be the last thing most people would call this!). I might in future apply the process to other MCU-related releases such as trailers or Disney+ series.</p><p>

As always, I've done a set of calculations ( marvelcinematicuniverse.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:BEJT/Predicting_Marvel_Netflix_Release_Dates ) taking into account all the different factors for when a Marvel Netflix season ends up getting released to estimate when the next one will come out.</p><p>
</p><p>I was 1 week off on The Punisher: Season 1, 1 week off on Jessica Jones: Season 2, spot on on Luke Cage: Season 2, didn't predict for Iron Fist: Season 2, 4 weeks off on Daredevil: Season 3, and 3 weeks off on The Punisher: Season 2. So this date should be a fairly reliable guide for the ballpark of the release date, if anyone who wants an idea of when this is coming our way.</p><p>
</p><p>With this release 2 weeks after Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s return, it would appear that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Season 6 will be the first post-Endgame MCU content, and this will be the second.</p><p>
</p><p>And this will close out the Marvel Netflix era after just over 4 years. Let's hope it ends on a high.</p>

Ah I thought it might be Radio Times. They don't have any more information than us, they're just guessing, it's why they say "expected". It's just the general impression they've got from when it filmed and the fact no date has been announced yet.

Yes, maybe you're right. So did you say April 29th? Is your calculation an estimate or is it confirmed?

May 24th, just a calculated estimate. I take into account how long it generally takes from start and end of filming to release and the general gaps between these Marvel Netflix seasons (it's a bit more complicated than that but that's the simple version) and then work out where overall that would mean it would come out and round to the nearest Friday. I've not been more than 4 weeks off before so hopefully this should give you a fair indicator.

<p>Yeah. I am pretty much sure that season will release around late May 2019, as Bob Iger or Alan Horn said that the season was going to release on summer 2019, and for whatever reason, May is defined as Summer. So, May seems about all right and BEJT is certainly 95-100% spot on. </p>

<p>Well it is a Marvel property producted by Disney and distributed by Netflix, I am very sure Disney has always known when the Netflix shows were going to be released. Also, maybe due to the cancellations and the partnership ending on July 2019, Netflix comunicated them their decisions ahead. </p>

Yes, and this is May, not April.
Hollywood considers January-April the "spring" season, May-August the "summer" season, and September-December the "fall" season. May is definitely feasible.
And we already brought that up above.
Honestly, the Netflix series’ were a VERY mixed bag. Daredevil was always good but I hated how they killed off great characters and dragged scenarios on.
