So, i was wondering how exactly did the infinity gauntlet define who died, and who didn't. What i mean by this is that just randomly killing 50% of all living creatures in the universe wouldn't really make sence. Remember that universe is extremely huge and if it was completely random there would still be billions and billions of planets where no-one died, and on the other hand billions and billions of planets where everyone got dusted. This way it would be very inaccurate and wouldn't really work.
One way the snap would work properly would be something like this:
When Thanos snaps his fingers, 50% of all "categories" would get dusted. By this i mean, let's say there is a school with 500 students. 250 of them gets dusted. One class has 20 students. out of the 250 students that died, 10 would be from this particular class. 8 of the students in this class are boys, and 12 are girls. out of the 10 that died, 4 would be boys and 8 would be girls. Out of the 4 boys on the class that died, two had blond hair, so only other of them died ect ect. One more simply exanple is to just say that 50% of every planet dot dusted. I know this doesn't quite work, because there would be so many factors that affect who dies and there was no solution for that, but this idea includes that the cauntlet tries to dust living creatures and do it as balanced as possible. I hope you get my point, this is kind of hard to explain. Your toughts?
