So here is an interesting article in Forbes magazine about why Endgame won’t be able to repeat or do better financially than Infinity War.
He makes some good arguments, BUT if Endgame is a really good film, then I still see fans giving it repeated showings, like they have done for Infinity War and others.

I feel like it's too soon to say. The real deciding factor will be the reviews and the marketing. We'll just have to wait and see.
I don't trust anything any of these people say. They are more often than not wrong. They said that Infinity War would not be able to top 1.5 billion. This is just one example that i use because they said the the same thing about infinity war. The industry in general is wrong a lot.
So far the marketing for Endgame has been “less is more” and for me, it’s working! Even though I hope to see more scenes before April.
While the writer made some interesting points, I agree with you that if it is well received by critics and more importantly its fan base, it will get that repeated attendance that will see it several times. While those other new releases might only get seen once by general audience.
Every single one who's watched infinity war is very curious to find out what happens next. So this curiosity makes Endgame highest grosser in history.
