He is still half celestial. He just doesn't have a power source.

The planet was the power sourse. Though it got destroyed. Now that you are asking, an infinity stone could work, for a couole of reasons. He can obviously hold one, kinda, well he didn't die. He is half celestial, which is pretty cool, and celestials used infinity stones to destroy planets, if I remember correctly.
