Who else should direct an Avengers film?

Seeing who the Russo's appear to be done with the MCU films (for now), unless the are making Secret Wars, that presumably means that when we get Avengers 5 etc, it will probably be directed by someone else. But who is able to do this massive task? This isn't just any film in the MCU, where they get someone not as known director who has done a few indies, they need someone who can utilise all these characters as well as create an amazing story. 
Joss Whedon was the perfect director for this role, he is incredible in regards to characters (so it made sense that he did the first one). However, when it came to studio interference, Joss wasn't able to do the film he wanted to fully with Age of Ultron (and maybe he shouldn't. Not trying to start something there). 
The Russo's were then brought on, after doing 2 Captain America films (both were incredible success with the amazing action and storytelling). They proved that they could handle a lot of characters in Civil War, and due to their other hits, it made sense to continue them on. 
But we can't just cement them with making Avenger films, just like we can't cement Waititi with doing Thor films etc. (however there are cases where this differs -> Gunn infusing so much of his style with the film, that whoever is chosen to do Vol. 3, won't be able to do the same). 
While the Avengers film are the centre of the MCU, they are not limited to one directing style, so I think it is fair game for anyone who can handle this task. You also need someone passionate about this, and someone who not only is a director, but also a fan. 
Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Brad Bird (The Incredibles, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol) do the job. He has made so many great films and knows how to create this type of thing with great characters, plus he would just make a great film by itself. I do think he would be great (if not better) for a Fantastic Four film, but maybe that's how it gets to do an Avengers film, by making an incredible Fantastic Four film.
