In my opinion I preferred watching Cloak & Dagger better than Runaways, but the latter is still worth the look.

I like them both. I would say they're about even in terms of quality. I would watch Runaways just because it came out first.

That's a hard question. Neither of them are very good. Cloak and Dagger is probably the better show, however Runaways is more entertaining. What I mean by the that is, Cloak and Dagger is the better made show. It's more believable, makes sense for the most part, but it's often kind of boring. Runaways, however, is incredibly goofy, doesn't really make much sense, but that's what makes it fun. The show is bad, but in the sense that it's entertaining to watch because of it. So to answer your question, Cloak and Dagger is the better show, however Runaways is probably more entertaining.

I preferred Cloak and Dagger to Runaways, although I liked both of them. Honestly, all the TV shows range from pretty darn good to absolutely excellent, with the huge exception of Inhumans, which is just terrible.

I loved both of them but I liked Cloak and Dagger a little more. So I think you should watch both but start with Cloak and Dagger then watch Runaways. I hope you enjoy them :)

I suggest you wait for the second season of Runaways to start watching because (SPOILER) the whole first season is essentially an over-dramatization of the first 6 issues of the original comic.
