I know what I said before, but the revelation that Avengers 4 is a completely different movie from Part 3, and the creators' refusal to answer whether Thanos would in in Avengers 4 (because if he was going to be in it, it wouldn't be a huge secret coz we're all expecting it and it was originally going to be Part 2 to Infinity War) is as good as confirmation that Thanos will not survive Infinity War. (Like JK Rowling's refusal to say whether Sirius would return was indication he would somehow reappear, and he did, if only in spirit form, where she said up front Dumbledore was dead)

And, it's pretty obvious how it's going to happen. I previously said "It's not like they have some sort of magic rainbow that can destroy any enemy", but actually, they do: The Infinity Gauntlet, with all six Infinity Stones in it (each a different color of the rainbow). We know Thanos gets it, but I bet Ant-Man steals it and gives it to one of the other Avengers, Guardians, etc. who then uses it to obliterate the Mad Titan in rainbowfied glory.

But the only question left is... who is going to be the one to blast him to oblivion?

Will it be Thor? He knows all about the Infinity Gauntlet, and he can handle Infinity Stones.

Will it be Nebula? She intends to kill Thanos, and I remember hearing in the comics' universe she did defeat him once.

Will it be Drax? He wants to kill Thanos too. In the comics he's powerful enough to do so on his own, but in the films he couldn't beat Ronan, who didn't even have the Orb yet.

Will it be Loki, either deciding once and for all to turn good (like Darth Vader killing Palpatine), or else only for his own reasons and becoming the villain of Avengers 4?

Or, will it be Captain America? It's long speculated he'll be killed like in the comics, so will he use the Infinity Gauntlet and sacrifice himself to take Thanos down? (Can mortals use the Infinity Gauntlet? Red Skull had the same power as Cap and he couldn't handle the tesseract even with gloves on)

I know who it won't be. <s>The Other, coz he's dead</s>. Vision, coz Thanos will have to kill him to get the Mind Stone. Which sucks coz he's cool, and he only just entered the series. (I mean, technically he was there before as Jarvis, but he just became Vision in Age of Ultron)

And if he survives Infinity War despite what suggests otherwise, I know who will kill him for sure - Nonexistio. (Though I'll come up with a headcanon that says Dormammu, with Thanos seeking the Dark Dimension's power to try to win next time)
