<p>When Marisa Tomei was announced to play Aunt May. Most of Spider-Man Fans were NOT pretty happy with that choice! Because Aunt May was very old Lady and they feel Marisa Tomei was too hot to play her </p><p>Regarding this, Captain America: Civil War co-writer Stephen McFeely said that, for the MCU, they were trying to make Peter "as naturalistic as possible...That's partly why his aunt isn't 80 years old; if she's the sister of his dead mother, why does she have to be two generations ahead?" </p><p>I mean why? Why you need a 80 years old actress to play older sister of 40 years old woman?! It doesn't change the story! It's pointless! This is more realistic! And plus it kindly HARD to cast a 80 years old actress to play Aunt May because the contract usually requires them to appear more future movies and what if that actress died of old age? Think about it </p><p>Anyhoo. You guys also complained about Ned Leeds being Ganke Lee to Peter Parker since you think it was more of Miles Morales film than Peter Parker. </p><p>Well, Did Jon Watts wanted to diversity the cast because New York have a lot People of different nationality? Why New York have to be filled with White Folks? I think they have Ned Leeds being Best Friend to Peter because having Harry Osborn being Best Friend for Peter Parker would be very predictable and being same as last 2 Old Spider-Man films! And plus I bet they purposely make Ganke Lee as Ned Leeds because they don't want to offend Asian folks, I think the name "Ganke" would offend a non-comic book Asian fans who didn't read Miles Morales story </p><p>Scott Derrickson also didn't included Wong because he didn't want Asian stereotypes character but because the controversial casting choice of Ancient One. He decides to included him to please Asian Folks. </p><p>Man! You guys get upset so easily! It's just a movie! Why you so upset over simple change! Gosh! </p>
