<p>There had been may threads about this subjects, but with the Doctor Strange movie coming out nearly everywhere today, the interviews with Kevin Feige and Scott Derrickson and some anticipations in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", it wouldn't be the right time to define the concept of magic in the MCU given the amount of material we have right now?

People can use different means and still accomplish the same end. In <i>Captain America: First Vengeance</i> Johann Schmidt theorizes that "<i>what the superstitous masses refer to as "magic" is simply the oldest science ever known.</i>" He successfully confirms that in <i>Captain America: The First Avenger </i>.</i></div>
<p>I think Agamotto pre-dates the Asgardians showing up. Skull's only basis is the Tesseract. </p>

<p>That's why I was asking, but I still think magic was used to create the Casket. It would probably fall under some kind of Enchantment, like Odin putting the one for worthiness on Mjolnir only whoever enchanted the Casket made it so it could unleash freeze beams and storms that cover large areas in ice. Which brings up another point, Eldritch Magic should have Enchantment listed under it too because in the movie we saw many mystical objects and weapons created by previous human sorcerers. </p>

Maybe Odin did, but i think that in this universe Agamotto appeared much more recently than in the comics (where he is an Elder God born billion of years ago). </p>

<p>There is no Dark Elf magic in the MCU. They use the highly advanced technology. The Aether is just a tool, a battery with unlimited energy, like every other Infinity Stone. It's not magical but it can be used by both scientists and magicians.

Using that logic we could say that Bruce Banner is a magical creature because he becomes two or three times bigger when he turns into the Hulk.

</p><p>I would think that the Warlock's Eye was magical because it looks around by itself, and it also has warlock in its name.
</p><p>I would think the Eternal Flame is magical too because it's been lit since about the beggining of time, and it would fall under Fire Giant or Fire Demon magic.
