<p>There had been may threads about this subjects, but with the Doctor Strange movie coming out nearly everywhere today, the interviews with Kevin Feige and Scott Derrickson and some anticipations in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", it wouldn't be the right time to define the concept of magic in the MCU given the amount of material we have right now?

<p>The fact they aren't gods does not preclude the fact they are have supernatural power. What happens at the end of Frigga's funeral is clearly not scientifically explainable. Same for Strange's mystical power. The fact that the mystical component of the MCU is very grounded doesn't make it "fake" magic. In the past, there was no difference at all between this two methods, even for us. Alchemy was the ancestor of modern chemistry.

<p>Also, we just got confirmation that there is such a thing as a soul in the MCU. That alone goes outside science.

After watching the movie I'm a litte confused about to waht to do with the article... should we delete the Space Shard article because it's more of a magic ability like the Eldritch Whips and Shields and not so a magic weapon like the Staff of the Living Tribunal?

- Kevin Feige refers at Doctor Strange's Magic Shield as Mandalas of Light. [1]
- Scarlet Witch's powers have the same source of power of the Masters of the Mystic Arts, but they are much more caotic and wider. They can be considered the MCU version of Chaos Magic, altough we'll need to wait for an official confirmation.
