There are other kinds of magic like the Red one (used by Kaecilius at the ritual inside the church and the Arrow of Apollon), the Blue one (from the Dark Scepter) and the Green one (from the Eye of Agamotto), but they don't have a name like the Eldritch Magic, at least for now.

<p>It was never my intention to hurt you. Please accept my apology. Sometimes I jump to conclusions too quickly. As for the position of magic in the MCU, I don't think the creators of the MCU are taking the fun out of the magic. They're doing the opposite. By connecting it with science they're trying to make it more believable. </p>

As for the Asgardians, it could be that they have combined magic and science into a form of alchemy.  </p>

<p>That's the problem. They never mentioned any alchemy. They clearly say that magic and science are one and the same. Also, unlike the Asgardians in the rest of the Marvel Multiverse, the Asgardians in the MCU openly admit that they are not gods. There is nothing supernatural about them. They are just a race that lives longer than humans but they are mortal just as we are. </p>

<p>The fact they aren't gods does not preclude the fact they are have supernatural power. What happens at the end of Frigga's funeral is clearly not scientifically explainable. Same for Strange's mystical power. The fact that the mystical component of the MCU is very grounded doesn't make it "fake" magic. In the past, there was no difference at all between this two methods, even for us. Alchemy was the ancestor of modern chemistry. </p>

<p>Also, we just got confirmation that there is such a thing as a soul in the MCU. That alone goes outside science.  </p><p>Also, what was gonna be your reasoning with the Soul Stone when it showed up? </p>
