2017 Punisher TV Series User Thoughts and Opinions

I loved his character in Season 2 of Daredevil, so I can't wait to see what his own Netflix show has to offer. </p><p>Thoughts? </p>

<p>I'm actually in a little bit of bad mood with Netflix at the moment. Everyone keep pushing the idea of having everything on Netflix because it would be "more grounded and more mature", but outside some swearing and some gritty cinematography (sometimes really blant), i don't find the last Marvel Netflix series as compelling as everyone else says. </p><p>Speaking of "The Punisher": i like the idea of him having his own series, and i appreciate the return of Karen Page. I'm not big fan of the idea of having Billy Russo being Frank Castle's at the beginning of the series just for the sake of a turn-back. After Luke Cage, this family-faud type of storyline are getting really tiring. </p>

<p>I haven't watched Luke Cage yet, but after reading your input, I'll definitely pass. I only watched Jessica Jones because Kilgrave was in it - Jones herself wasn't bad but that show didn't change my opinion on Cage one bit. </p>

<p><span>The Punisher doesn't always hit the perfect note but you have to give it chops for trying to do something a little different, and eschewing genre conventions. It's just too bloody long.</span> </p>

<p>At the end, Russo's twist was similar but it was really well done. <i>The Punisher</i> is a must see, and definitevely one of the best Marvel Netflix series in a while. </p>
