Has anybody else noticed that SCARLET WITCH'S POWERS ARE INFINITY-STONE ORANGE? There's a thread that seems to have been forgotten, but never resolved, about how the Aether may fit better as the soul gem, everyone just assumed it was the reality gem, but there doesn't appear to be any corroboration of tha fact from Marvel (every wiki just quotes every other wiki)

MY THEORY (as posted on the other thread, linked above)

I realize this is an extremely old thread, but given the fact that the movie is coming out (and every wiki out there assumes that the aether is the reality stone), I feel I should get my theories out there.

I agree with the people above that the aether is probably the soul gem. The liquid, blood-like appearance, the possesion, the sapping of life force, etc make it seem that way more than anything else. If you're truly desperate for an explanation for the plan to convert the universe into dark matter, call that converting "the soul/life-force of the universe" from light to darkness, or something. People seem to forget that all of the reality-bending effects (gravity, etc) in the dark world were do to the CONVERGENCE, not the Aether (which does very little beyond possess Jane). Also, people don't appear to have noticed this comment in the movie:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRsSjL3bs3k&feature=youtu.be&t=30"soul forge" seems an oddly random name to assign to the thing if it's NOT a movie about the soul stone.

As for the Orange stone, it's the perfect red herring for marvel if everyone's been looking for a soul gem, when in fact the reality gem is the only one missing. I'd invite people to take a look at the orange, gauntlet-oval shaped stone around scarlet witch's neck in age of ultron, then watch this scene again, and tell me that her powers aren't actually blood orange like the final stone (not, in fact, scarlet)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlN4PxQ_dJoJoss Whedon has already played with intentional misnomers before in the marvel universe. He named Quake (as in EARTHquake) "Sky" in Agents of Shield.
Given how scarlet witch DOES have the power to mess with the laws of physics (with no real imposed limit yet), and did put fake visions in the minds of several avengers (hulk, thor, etc) as her opening act, it presents a solid case for the reality stone as the source of her powers. Ask yourself just how much of your rejection of this theory is based on her name having the word "scarlet" in it?
