<p>Since the Winter Finale of AoS aired, I wanted to know how the actors have been reacting to the episode and I was very intrigued by the different reaction of B.J. Britt and Reed Diamond, since both of their characters "died" on that episode. B.J. Britt was interviewed by a lot of websites about how was to work with Marvel, the AoS crew and have thanked all the fans about how much they loved Trip... But Reed Diamond is reacting very differently...
</p><p>Insted of interviews, "I love you guys, it was awesome", and "I'm going to miss everybody", this is how he reacted on twitter and this is an interview he gave to Marvel a couple of days before the episode aired, wich makes me think we will still have a lot of Whitehall by the second half of the season.

</p><p>I LOVE Triplett, but good writing demands that he is dead. Skye lost control when she tried to kill Ward, when she pursued Raina, when she caused the earthquake; she broke May' s rule. The repercussions are too extensive to bring him back. I pray that he becomes a hallucination in Skye's head for one episode, but that's all the "bargaining" I'm doing. I promised myself I'd be on acceptance by Tuesday...

</p><p>That is exactly why I love the show, the way they played that scene. Pure genius. Not the mainstream dead of a big bad, but a normal one, genius, pure genius.

<p>I think Coulson finished Whitehall. Whitehall's butchering of Skye's mom shows that despite her age-defying powers she couldn't defy death. So it's safe to assume Whitehall wouldn't survive either, even though he harvested organs to stay young. It's the writers' way of saying to the audience at the end of the day Whitehall is really a nothing, a small fish in a big galactic pond. It's a perfect twist - having an ego-manicial bad guy with dreams of world domination go out in such a low key way - mortally wounded by gun fire. Plus, Whitehall finally answers for his war crimes and atrocities. It took seventy years but justice was served.
