<p>In the comics, she recruited Herculese... be sure to remember that. Now, here is my ttheory dramatized.
</p><p>Bakshi: Sir, if I may be so bold as to ask WHY we recruited agent 33? We have plenty of agents with hhigh-class combat training.
</p><p>Whitehall: It's not her abilities, but what she knows.
</p><p>Bakshi: Sir?
</p><p>Whitehall: S.h.i.e.l.d. has the Asgardians on their side, they remain a heavy casualty should they challenge us.
</p><p>Bakshi: Where are you going with this, if I may ask?
</p><p>Whitehall: Well, our new friend 33, during her time with S.h.i.e.l.d. made an interesting discovery... what if I told you she found the rumored brothers of the Asgardians?
</p><p>Bakshi: (Surprised) The Olympians!!!
</p><p>And maybe a Herculese/33 romance much like Thor/Jane?

<p>@Somethingman19 - I don't follow the comics so I don't know about the Agent 33/Hercules angle. But what you suggested could work with a current stream in the MCU with Thor & Jane. They suppose to break up (not confirmed) in Age of Ultron and Jane is suppose to rebound with Richard, her date from The Dark World. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. shows that HYDRA is everywhere and anyone. I suggested in several threads that Richard could be a HYDRA agent, sent in to romance Jane to get close to Erik Selvig and find out more about Thor and Asgard. HYDRA has shown it is willing to use sex as a means to an end (see Ward and May for AoS, season 1); and given the current tone of the show it could go that way in the MCU. And it this goes that way for Thor and Jane, it's a cautionary tale: don't hook up so quickly after a break up or you find the hard way your rebound should have been a reject.
