<p>I have this idea that the rings are symbolic, not actual rings. That each ring means something to this group of extremists. Now, whether or not the Mandarin is ancient, that's a different story, and if they come up with a way to do that, even if it includes the rings, I'm sure it'll be fantastic. But Norriss' line "And for that you'll suffer for every ring of our faith" leads me to believe that the rings are simply symbols, and not alien rings that a Chinese dude found. </p>

I'd like to see a fourth movie with a more comic inspired Mandarian mayself to be honest even though I liked Iron Man 3.
